This plaque was done by JoAnn. It features a nicely done 3D carving of a wolf howling at the moon. The plaque is 8x10, and is stained using a variety of stains to achieve the different colors. |

This carving, featuring a howling wolf and Hail Skadhi carved using the Elder Futhark, is one of JoAnn's carvings. She is planning a series of plaques dedicated to various Gods/Goddesses, each with an animal which is equated with that deity. (ie: Freyja and a cat, Odin and raven or horse, Freyr and boar, etc.) The spelling of the God names can be changed to reflect the spelling of the Norse, Germanic or Anglo-Saxon, dependent on customer request. This plaque is stained with Golden Oak and size is 7x9 |

This was JoAnn's first carving. This one of a kind plaque depicts Yggdrasil and is done with the Dark Walnut stain. At the top sits the eagle, at the bottom lies the serpent, and if you look closely, you may just be able to find Ratatosk the squirrel, whose face is within the tree itself. Some may see him as a tree wight or spirit, either way there is a face within the tree. It measures 8x9. |

This is a special custom piece that JoAnn created for a friend of hers. It is a Cougar relaxing. It is done on a 9x10 oval plaque and is stained in a combination of honey oak (over the majority of it) and American Colonial (to color the nose and inner ears). She felt the eyes needed to stand out, so she etched off all stains, till they were a natural color again, then re-stained, touching them just briefly with a lighter stain. |
