This plate took JoAnn over 20 hours to complete. It features 3 flying serpents, entwined together. Each has been stained using a different set of colors. The picture really does not do justice to the amount of detail in the burning. |

JoAnn and I have been doing some combination woodburning / woodcarving plates together. This was one of the first. The real work is the intricate woodburning that JoAnn does in the center. This 9.5" Chippendale style plate is stained using Golden Oak. |

Another of JoAnn's woodburned Rune plates. This one has 6 dragons entwined together in 2 groups of 3. Each group is stained using a differnt color to set them apart. |

Another combination project JoAnn and I did. I carved the Runes around the outer ring, and also a decorative ring around JoAnn's woodburning. The level of detail in the burning is just incredible. |
